Hey everyone! I have a question to pose... It's been so long since I've actually posted, I hope people actually stop to see this!
I was reading an
online article last week about a family in California who "lives green". They have gotten it down to a "T". They literally do not have ANY trash. Only a little recycling each week when the trucks come by. It's insane (You can click the previous link to see the article/pics).
Now, this family is a little over the top, in my opinion, but to each his own. The one thing that I LOVED that this family did, was shopping at wholesale stores for groceries where they could literally bring in their glass containers for dry goods, and not take home any packaging...
The only catch is, I have NO idea what kinds of stores DO that! Do you?? If so, let me know how we can start doing this, please! :) I'd love to not have the flour/sugar/bean/etc. wrappers taking up garbage/recycling space around here if it's not needed.
Love,
Denise
